Day 1: Canberra to Singapur

We left Canberra at 6:00 am and arrived in Sydney at 10:00 am. There wasn’t traffic jam, everything flows normally. Then, we stayed for 4 hours at the airport before moving to Singapur. We flighted with scoop airline which is super cheap, however, it does not provide you with water and anything like that, everything have to be paid. A bottle of water cost roughly $S 2.0. Snacks around $S 5-9, and meals around $S 11. People can paid with USA dollars or credit card. If there is money left, Singapur Dollars will be return (no American dollars). During the trip, we watch a serie in Netflix and read a book ( the airplane doesn’t have screens so I think it is an excellent idea to bring something with you)

We arrived in Singapur at 7:15 pm, we wanted to take the train but we were advised to take the shuttle (cost $S 9 per person ) but it was not possible because there was not shuttle at that moment. We finally took a taxi till Baliester road ($S 26). It spent 20 min roughly. I think it was a good service, quite expensive but good choice when you have heavy bags, you are tired and hungry 😋.

we arrived at value hotel (located in Baliester road ) at 9:00 pm. The hotel seemed more beautiful in pictures than in real, it disappointed us. However , it wasn’t a big issue because because we booked it only for two days. Then, we visited the market area and there were plenty of stores, different restaurants, and bakery. Smell from baked bread came from everywhere and we could wait for longer so we decided to buy ( umm, it was yummy yummy yummy )

Bread cost ( $S 1.70 )
